Holiday Hangups 50' Connectable Cluster Lights
If you want lots of sparkle, cluster lights are one of my favorite ways to light a Christmas tree.
Holiday Hangups Cluster Lights have 1,500 warm white LED lights on a 50-foot strand, giving you a beautiful, dense look without having to cover your tree with multiple shorter strands.
I specifically wanted these lights to be 50 feet long because that's the length I was used to using with RAZ cluster lights. That extra length makes them especially useful for larger trees and holiday displays.
Seven Light Settings
Each strand comes with a remote control and DC adapter and has seven light functions:
- Combination
- Medium twinkle
- Sequential
- Slow twinkle
- Slow fade
- Twinkle/fade
- Steady on
My favorite is slow twinkle when I want to add movement and sparkle without making the entire tree look like it's constantly flashing.
Adjust the brightness to match your space with four brightness levels—100%, 75%, 50% and 25%—so you can choose everything from a bright, fully illuminated tree to a softer, more subtle glow.
Connectable Christmas Lights
Connect up to three 50-foot strands together for a total of 150 feet and 4,500 warm white LED lights.
For reference, I use three strands to light a 6.5-foot full Christmas tree.
The amount you'll need will vary depending on the height and fullness of your tree and how densely you want it lit.
My Favorite Way to Use Cluster Lights
One of my favorite ways to use cluster lights is down the trunk of a Christmas tree.
I use cluster lights on the trunk and snake lights on the branches. Set the cluster lights to slow twinkle and the snake lights to steady on, and you get a subtle sparkle coming from inside the tree while the snake lights provide the main coverage.
It's one of my favorite ways to make a Christmas tree feel like it's glowing from the inside.
More Than Christmas Trees
Cluster lights aren't just for trees. I use them on:
- Christmas trees
- Wreaths
- Garland
- Mantels
- Holiday displays
They're especially useful anywhere you want a dense, sparkling layer of light.
Warm White Christmas Lights
I spent a lot of time choosing the warm white color for Holiday Hangups Christmas Lights. I wanted a classic glow that would work beautifully with the designer ribbon, ornaments and Christmas decorations I use in my own home.
These are the cluster lights I created for the way I actually decorate.
