Holiday Hangups 75' Connectable Snake Lights

These are the Christmas lights that started my obsession with finding the right amount of light for a Christmas tree.

Holiday Hangups Snake Lights are 75 feet long with 1,000 warm white LED lights on green wire, giving you plenty of length and light to work from the top of your tree down through the branches.

I designed these lights for the way I actually decorate. They're lightweight, connectable, and packed with tiny LED lights so you get a lot of light without a strand that's mostly wire.

Why I Love Snake Lights

Snake lights are one of my favorite ways to light a Christmas tree, especially medium and tall trees. I use my zig-zag lighting technique, starting at the top of the tree and working my way down through the branches.

For reference, I typically use:

• 9-foot slim tree: 3-4 strands
• 10-foot full tree: 5-7 strands

The number you'll need will vary depending on the height and fullness of your tree and how densely you want it lit.

Seven Light Settings

These aren't just steady-on Christmas lights. Each strand comes with a remote control and DC adapter and offers seven light functions:

• Combination
• Medium twinkle
• Sequential
• Slow twinkle
• Slow fade
• Twinkle/fade
• Steady on

I especially love the slow twinkle setting when I want a little movement and sparkle without the tree constantly flashing.

Adjust the brightness to match your space with four brightness levels—100%, 75%, 50% and 25%—so you can choose everything from a bright, fully illuminated tree to a softer, more subtle glow.

Connectable Christmas Lights

You can connect up to two 75-foot strands together, creating a total of 150 feet and 2,000 warm white LED lights.

That extra length is especially useful for tall Christmas trees, long garlands and larger holiday displays.

Warm White LED Christmas Lights

I spent a lot of time choosing the warm white color for Holiday Hangups Christmas Lights. I wanted a classic, beautiful glow that works with the designer ribbon, ornaments and other Christmas decorations I use throughout my home.
